The Golden Keys was self published in 1987. A one time printing of 1000 copies.
In August of 1988 the Clarion Ledger featured the book in a story by Religion editor Charlotte Graham. Most of the books sold as a result of that story. Others were sold in bookstores in central Mississippi. One box was kept for a keepsake.
